The Axthaler site on Innere Münchener Straße, purchased in 2020, covers a property area of approx. 5,100 m². The aim is to develop the formerly commercially used site into a new residential quarter for senior citizens, linking all areas of senior living.

On the new floor area of approx. 6,000 m², 85 senior flats, a roof terrace as well as inpatient and outpatient care facilities will be created for a carefree and socially integrated life in old age. Small commercial units are planned for the ground floor.

The designs of the architectural firm Felix+Jonas envisage underlining the prominence of the location at the entrance to the city with a striking building structure. A clear façade with different designs recreates the structure of the individual houses in Landshut's generally medieval townscape and blends in perfectly with the neighbouring buildings.

The charm of the Lower Bavarian city of Landshut an der Isar is characterised by its valuable, medieval old town with many architectural monuments. At the foot of the landscape conservation area on Innere Münchener Straße lies the newly planned Isarhangleiten building site, where a holistic living concept for senior citizens is being created. The location offers needs-based and comprehensive care structures and is within walking distance of Landshut's city centre. It is very well connected by a well-developed road network, a fast connection to long-distance traffic as well as the bus line located directly in front of the door. Shopping facilities, doctors and the Isar river are only a few minutes away.
