The property at the Kilianstraße in the Thon district, was acquired at the end of 2020. The planned building on the approx. 2,000 m² plot consists of several interlocking cubatures, which have different heights of four to seven floors. Due to the projections and recesses of the façade, the new building blends loosely into the streetscape. The 7-story high point in the west will contain subsidized apartments as well as small commercial spaces on the first floor. The other parts of the building will contain compact condominiums. All apartments face south toward the landscaped courtyard. A large, communally usable roof garden complements the private outdoor seating areas that belong to each apartment.
KILIAN1 is a modern new residential and commercial building in an established business location, with best centrality and in direct vicinity of the existing residential homes of the Nuremberg-Thon district. The ensemble, which is sustainable in terms of energy, construction and greenery, was completed in April 2024.
