The residential building in Marl with a floor area of about 2,500 m² and a land area of 12,000 m² was acquired by a publicly-listed company in 2015 as part of a portfolio transaction. The vacancy rate was around 32% at the time of acquisition. The development phase was completed in 2017. As part of the conversion to a block of flats, the majority of the flats were renovated, the outdoor facilities and the entrance area redesigned, and the flats fully furnished. Within nearly three years, all of the 66 business flats were leased. Following successful renovation and leasing, the property, which is located in the Hüls district, was sold to a long-term portfolio holder in 2018.
